It is essential to administer dewormer to cattle before vaccination - this not only eliminates worms but also significantly increases the vaccine's effectiveness.

1. Dewormer can be safely given to healthy cattle with no risk of harm.

2. Best results are achieved when given on an empty stomach in the morning.

3. Mixing dewormer with water and grain feed will not be effective.

4. Tablets should be crushed and mixed with molasses or wrapped in banana leaves to be given on an empty stomach.

5. No food should be given for at least 1 hour after administering dewormer.

6. It's better not to deworm during extreme heat. If necessary, bathe the cattle immediately for 10-15 minutes and keep under a fan.

7. Slightly exceeding the recommended dosage won't cause significant harm.

8. Underdosing won't kill the worms but may make them more active.

9. Use dewormer at least 45 days after calving, but not before.

10. Pregnant cows over 8 months should not be dewormed.

11. All cattle should be dewormed regularly every 3 months.

12. Newborn calves should receive piperazine group dewormer powder within 5-7 days of birth, followed by monthly albendazole group tablets until 6 months old.

13. Always administer liver tonic according to dosage after deworming. If appetite decreases after deworming, appetite-stimulating powder/tablets can help restore it quickly.
